Job summary

Focus: HOPE seeks a part-time Workforce Development Instructor – Automotive in Detroit to coordinate equipment, curricula, training, and resources for the MTI program. You will be a subject matter expert in automotive technology, teaching in a training lab, classroom, and online settings while helping develop the course and engaging partners to monitor outcomes.

You will deliver classroom and hands-on instruction, support curriculum maintenance, and assist student counselors.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and written skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to relate to people from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Instruct in Automotive Technology in lab, classroom, and online settings.
• Assist with curriculum development and student progress assessments.
• Ensure safety rules and program compliance with funding agencies.
• Provide program outreach and advocacy for MTI outcomes.
