Job summary

Automotiq Car Studio in Austin, TX seeks an Automotive Window Film Technician to install and remove window film and related automotive coatings. You will work closely with customers to ensure high-quality results and compliance with IWFA standards.

We value hands-on installers with a strong safety mindset, ability to lift up to 150 lbs, and a commitment to punctual, professional service. PTO is provided.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience installing at a professional window tint shop.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Requires ability to lift 70-150 pounds and climb ladders.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record.
• No criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Install window film or other products according to standards.
• Check film in/out by job using computer.
• Walk customers through orders and verify accuracy.
• Plan film cuts to minimize waste.
• Provide clean, efficient installations and proper film care instructions.
• Complete paperwork and obtain signatures; collect payment.
• Maintain inventory and warehouse cleanliness.
• Support with special projects and office duties as needed.
