Job summary

All-Pro Auto Reconditioning in Austin, TX is seeking an Automotive Wash Bay Technician to wash vehicles with pressure and automatic washers, clean interiors, and apply wax. You will inspect vehicles, prepare them for delivery, maintain tools, and perform duties as assigned in a fast-paced, team-based garage.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Positive attitude and reliability.
• Previous detailing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
• Clean interior surfaces, upholstery, carpet, and other areas with cleaning agents and tools.
• Apply wax and buff surfaces to protect and shine the vehicle.
• Apply protective sealant.
• Refurbish headlights and maintain service tools and equipment.
• Understand and deliver to customer requirements.
• Inspect vehicles for pre-delivery readiness.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Automotive Wash Bay Technician Job Description

• Wash vehicle using pressure washer and automatic washer.
• Remove trash from the interior and cleans upholstery, carpet, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine, using cloth or buffing machine.
• Apply protective sealant.
• Refurbishing headlights.
• Maintain the standard and quality of service of the organization.
• Understand and deliver to the specific requirements of the customers.
• Inspecting the vehicles thoroughly for pre delivery.
• Maintaining the proper function of all service tools and equipment.
• Other responsibilities provided by manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs & priorities.
• Positive attitude.
