Job summary
HL Mando America Corporation invites applications for a Verification Engineer II to verify and validate automotive steering systems using HIL and bench testing in Auburn, MI. You will contribute to test planning, develop test cases from system and software requirements, and ensure traceability across artifacts.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s in engineering and hands-on experience with HIL, dSPACE, MATLAB/SIMULINK, CAN tools, and embedded C.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
- Plus 2 years of experience in verification/validation or related occupations.
- 1 year of experience with HIL & bench testing, dSPACE, MATLAB, and SIMULINK.
Responsibilities
- Verify and validate automotive steering systems with HIL and bench testing.
- Create test cases from system and software requirements.
- Develop system and component integration test plans.
- Ensure verification adheres to ISO 26262, ASPICE, and IATF 16949.
- Prepare materials for technical discussions with management and customers.
- Execute test scenarios and maintain traceability between requirements, tests, and results.
- Create defects from failed test results and participate in debugging.
- Support verification documentation and reporting.
