Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Quality Engineer in Auburn Hills, MI onsite. You will validate product and process designs at the geometric level and participate in the development of the geometric monitoring plan at the assembly line.

You will ensure geometric quality convergence during industrialization, report component and assembly issues to design, conformity, and manufacturing teams, and conduct analyses to define pilots and improvements that meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• 3–5 years in automotive Product/Manufacturing Quality or related.
• Knowledge of APQP/PPAP and Supplier Quality Manual.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and root cause methods.
• Strong understanding of vehicle design, assembly, tooling and process control.

Responsibilities

• Validate product and process design and assembly at geometric level.
• Develop geometric monitoring plan at the assembly line.
• Ensure geometric quality convergence during industrialization.
• Report quality issues and collaborate with design, conformity and manufacturing teams.
