Qualifications
- Five or more years of professional automotive technician experience.
- Strong hands-on transmission repair and replacement experience.
- A-Level or strong B-Level technical background preferred.
- Strong transmission diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Dealership or heavy line experience is a plus.
- Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform transmission removal and replacement (R&R) accurately and efficiently.
- Diagnose and repair transmission-related concerns.
- Identify drivability and performance issues related to transmission systems.
- Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and clearly document findings.
- Perform high-quality repairs while meeting established shop standards.
- Collaborate with the team to keep repair work moving efficiently.
- Follow established shop procedures and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
