Job summary

Southern Tire in Metairie, LA is seeking an energetic Tire Technician to join our shop. You’ll safely mount, balance, rotate tires and perform basic repairs to keep vehicles moving. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation to get to work.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Able to perform a variety of manual tasks including lifting.
• Strong focus on safety and teamwork.

We are looking for an energetic, reliable Tire Technician to join our growing shop!

What You’ll Do:

• Tire Services: Safely mount, dismount, balance, and rotate tires for cars and light trucks.
• Repairs: Inspect, assess, and repair punctured or damaged tires.
• Maintenance: Perform basic preventative maintenance including fluid checks, filter replacements, and oil changes.
• Safety & Standards: Maintain a clean, organized bay area and strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

What You Bring:

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable Transportation to get to work
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
• A strong focus on safety, great teamwork, and a positive, customer-first attitude.
