Job summary

Kocourek Automotive seeks Kia Automotive Technicians to perform maintenance and repair to Kia standards within a dealership setting, diagnosing and servicing a wide range of vehicle systems.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends, plus paid PTO/holidays, medical, dental and vision coverage, life insurance options, and an employer 401(k) match. Ongoing factory training supports career advancement.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of Dealership experience (preferred NOT required).
• Drive to learn and grow with a top performing team.
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders to Kia standards.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering & suspension, braking, and A/C systems.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in non-technical terms to service advisors and customers.
• Stay current with new technologies through formal training sessions.
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings for necessary repairs.
