Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician in Columbus, OH to deliver accurate diagnostics, quality repairs, and thorough inspections. Earn $1,000-$1,800 per week plus bonus with a Monday-Friday schedule and no nights or weekends.

This role requires 4+ years of automotive repair experience, strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, ability to read wiring diagrams, and knowledge of electrical/engine systems. Benefits include 401(k) with 3% match and medical insurance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Experience diagnosing drivability and complex vehicle concerns.
• Knowledge of automotive electrical and engine systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Experience diagnosing check engine light and vehicle performance concerns.
• ASE Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose drivability, electrical, engine, check engine light, and performance concerns.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams to identify electrical faults.
• Perform quality repairs and thorough inspections with close attention to detail.
• Verify the root cause of vehicle concerns and confirm repairs are completed correctly.
• Maintain high workmanship standards without taking shortcuts to increase production.
• Take ownership of your work, learn from mistakes, and contribute positively to the team
