Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices in the Magnolia, TX area is seeking full-time Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis. You will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide range of undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and tires, and conduct state inspections.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of automotive repair experience, own a robust toolbox, and hold a state inspection license plus ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5).

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Possess an extensive toolbox of personal tools for undercar repairs.
• State inspection license(s).
• ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Responsibilities

• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and perform repetitive movements during vehicle maintenance.
• Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
