Job summary

Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is hiring Automotive Mechanics to join our Winston Salem area team. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles, including brakes, struts, shocks, and tire services, and perform state inspections as required.

The role requires 2 years of experience or equivalent training, a solid toolbox, and the ability to handle lifting and a variety of physical tasks. ASE certifications are preferred, and a strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance or equivalent.
• Must be capable of performing undercar repairs and inspections with accuracy.
• Must possess an extensive tool box of personal tools.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose vehicles to determine service needs.
• Perform undercar repairs including brakes, struts, and shocks.
• Change oil and filters; check fluids and replace worn parts.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires; perform state inspections.
