Job summary

AAMCO Transmissions is expanding its Bloomington service center and seeking skilled Automotive Technicians to joining our nationwide team. You will diagnose, repair, and service transmissions and a range of automotive systems, with ongoing access to advanced training and support resources.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of experience, own professional tools, and a drive to grow within a leading automotive diagnostics and repair network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as an Automotive Technician.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.
• Own professional grade tools to service any general repair need.
• Experience troubleshooting and conducting both mechanical and electrical diagnostics, including drivability testing.
• Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Assist other technicians in performing technical activities
• Perform general repairs on vehicles
• Continuously learn new technical information, equipment, tools and repair techniques
• Professionally record findings so that repairs costs are accurately estimated
