Job summary

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician in Metairie, LA to inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles in a fast-paced service center. You will mentor others and stay current with evolving automotive technology, delivering excellent guest experiences.

Responsibilities include diagnosing systems, performing repairs, and maintaining safety standards, with opportunities for advancement in training and certification reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver\'s license.
• Minimum of three years of automotive repair experience including diagnosis and repairs.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred ASE A4/A5 certifications and related licenses.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills.
• Inspect, repair and diagnose brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, and HVAC systems.
• Continuously learn and stay updated on automotive technology and techniques.
• Maintain safety, service standards and housekeeping; use protective equipment as required.
• Assist guests with service recommendations per manufacturer guidelines.
