Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive in Goodyear is seeking a General Service Automotive Technician / Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on guest vehicles. The role offers hourly pay and weekends off, with full-time hours in the Arizona department.

Technicians will handle oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and inspections while working with a team to diagnose concerns and ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience performing oil changes, tire rotations, general maintenance, and vehicle inspections is preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and more
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know
• Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guest's vehicle
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
