A leading tire and automotive service company in Gloucester is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician. Responsibilities include performing repairs, maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, valid Driver’s License, and at least 1 year of experience. This position offers various benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive technician role.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Mansioni

• Correctly mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger vehicles.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Document vehicle safety inspections and repairs.
• Produce accurate repair estimates for customer vehicles.
• Communicate repairs in understandable terms to customers.

Conoscenze

Customer service focus in a retail environment

Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.

Basic conflict resolution skills

Solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry

Basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs

Basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Team player

Formazione
