Byrider in Bowling Green, KY is hiring an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, and repair customer vehicles. This role features a steady, 40-hour schedule with weekday hours (8 AM–5 PM) and no flat-rate pay.

You will handle major repairs, including engine or transmission work, while maintaining a clean and safe shop environment. Qualifications include A-level automotive technician experience, strong diagnostic skills, a valid driver's license, and a personal tool set.

Qualifications

• A-level Automotive Technician/Mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to handle major repairs.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Personal tool set (we provide specialty tools).
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect inventory vehicles from auctions, wholesalers, etc.
• Diagnose and repair customer vehicles
• Perform major repairs as needed, including engine/transmission removal (no rebuilds)
• Complete test drives when required
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment
