CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet safety and performance standards in a climate-controlled facility. You’ll work with a skilled team across engines, brakes, steering, suspension, and HVAC, gaining hands-on experience while upholding customer trust.

New hires external to CarMax may receive a sign-on bonus up to $10,000; ongoing training and career growth opportunities are offered as part of a collaborative work environment.

Formación

• Experience repairing engines, steering and suspension, brakes and HVAC.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and compliance.
• Able to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a busy shop.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to high quality and safety standards.
• Collaborate with a team to solve technical challenges quickly.
• Gain hands-on experience across domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Uphold CarMax’s commitment to customer satisfaction and trust.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean work area.

Conocimientos

Experience in engine repair

Steering and suspension experience

Educación

ASE Certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2)
