CarMax Austin is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to CarMax standards. You’ll work from engines and brakes to steering and suspension, in a clean, climate-controlled environment designed for success.

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate automotive repair experience.
• Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and compliance.

• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to CarMax standards.
• Perform services from basic maintenance to complex repairs.
• Complete multi-point inspections and document findings.
• Repair or replace components to support reconditioning efforts.
• Assist with alignment, suspension, and diagnostics while growing independence.
• Uphold EH&S and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
