Job summary

The Auto Club Group seeks an automotive technician to repair and maintain cars and light trucks under supervision. The role includes performing oil changes, alignments, brakes, and other tasks as trained, and may involve mentoring junior technicians and preparing vehicles for delivery after repairs.

Requirements include a High School diploma or technical certification, 3 years of repair experience, a valid driver's license, and ASE certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or technical certification.
• 3 years minimum experience repairing vehicles at a dealership or automotive center.
• ASE certifications preferred; state inspection or AC 609 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance on cars and light trucks as trained.
• Oil changes, brake service, tire work, alignments, and other routine maintenance tasks.
• Train lower level technicians and assist in mentoring teammates.
• Drive and prepare vehicles for service bay, test drive and delivery after repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop and work areas.
