Job summary

Goodyear is hiring an Automotive Technician in the Pittsburgh area, offering full-time, flat-rate with a 75% hour guarantee. You will inspect, diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, alignment, engine, A/C, and coolant systems using the latest tech, with opportunities for ASE reimbursement and career growth.

We seek a minimum of three years' repair experience or three years in military vehicle maintenance, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of automotive repair experience or three years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) certifications preferred; state inspection license a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using the latest technology.
• Mentor teammates and stay current with evolving automotive techniques.
• Maintain high safety, service, and housekeeping standards while using protective equipment.
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods.
