Job summary

Lakeshore Tire & Auto Service DBA Cruise Transmission and Auto Repair in Charlevoix, MI, is seeking an Experienced Automotive Technician for a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule. Pay ranges from $22 to $35 per hour based on experience, with weekly pay and strong growth opportunities.

The role involves repairs on various makes, diagnostic work, and potential transmission repairs in a collaborative shop. ASE certs are a plus; willingness to obtain them is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years automotive technician experience in an independent repair shop.
• Experience performing automotive diagnostics.
• Willingness to obtain ASE Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform automotive repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Complete transmission repairs and advanced mechanical repair work.
• Perform diagnostic work to identify and resolve vehicle concerns.
• Work collaboratively with a small, team-oriented shop in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the continued growth of the shop while developing your technical skills.
