Job summary

CarMax is seeking a Mechanical Associate to inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition vehicles to meet high safety and quality standards. You’ll work in a climate-controlled facility, using advanced tools while growing through ongoing training and collaboration with a skilled team.

Qualifications

• Experience in engine repair, steering and suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and state ASE certifications (A4, A5, A7, A6, A1, A3, A8, A2) as required.
