Job summary

Midas Auto Experts in Glassboro, NJ is seeking an Intermediate Level Technician to work independently and with peers in a full-service auto shop.

You will perform inspections, tests, tire mounting/balancing, battery and bulb replacements, and maintenance tasks while diagnosing more complex issues with guidance as needed. A valid driver’s license is required and ASE is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Intermediate level technician with automotive basics.
• Must be able to read service and repair manuals and work orders.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough visual safety and courtesy inspection.
• Test specific parts and systems for proper operation.
• Mounting, balancing and rotating tires.
• Replacing batteries and bulbs; belts and hoses as needed.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts such as brakes and water pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes.
• Assist on complex jobs with diagnostics as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs.
• Maintain and clean shop areas.
• Willingness to learn and grow as a technician.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
