What You’ll Do
- Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices
- Perform auto maintenance tasks including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs, and vehicle inspection
- Perform battery testing, maintenance, and replacement; test and repair starting and charging electrical systems
- Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components
- Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems
- Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system
- Perform maintenance on equipment
- Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts
- May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment
- Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash
Who You Are
You're a quick learner—especially when it comes to cars and how they work. You're a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work.
Required
- 1 or more years of related work experience
- The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
Preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Current ASE Certifications: G1, A4, A5 status when required by leadership
USD 20.10 - 30.10 per hour
Compensation
Hourly pay rate is in the range of $20.10 - $30.10/hour. The hourly rate may vary based on location and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the hourly range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $0.01.
