Job summary

Bridgestone Americas' Bridgestone Retail Operations is hiring Automotive Technicians in Texas. You’ll learn to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under experienced techs, with hands-on learning in inspections and customer interactions.

Sign-on bonus of $1,500 for first-time hires and flat-rate pay from $17.50 to $26.30 per hour. Our crew enjoys medical, dental and vision from day one, paid vacation, on-the-job training, and opportunities to earn ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Able to read, write and perform math tasks.
• Willing to learn mechanical tasks and gain ASE certifications.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; tests paid by the company; bonus for each passed.
