Job summary

Cooperative Producers, Inc. (CPI) is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join our Kenesaw, NE team. The role involves extensive vehicle maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and preventive work on various motorized vehicles and equipment.

You will also handle tire services, record-keeping, and assist with inventories. A safety-minded approach and the ability to work in all weather are essential. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED (or related experience), the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or related experience and/or training.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and filing/handling of propane cylinders when applicable.
• Ability to understand methods, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance.
• Must be able to successfully complete the Safety Operations Equipment Checklist.
• Must have the physical strength, balance and stamina necessary to complete the jobs in various areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform extensive vehicle maintenance and repair, diagnosing issues and inspections.
• Provide tire services and general maintenance on motorized vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect engines, transmissions and run diagnostic tests to identify functionality issues.
• Maintain and inventory company tools and prepare records and reports.
