Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Austin, TX. You will perform repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision, including oil changes, brake work, suspension, and routine diagnostics.

On-the-job training supports ASE certification growth. Eligible candidates should have at least 2 years of auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications, plus a complete tools set.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
• Complete oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and routine maintenance.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work.
