The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring an Automotive Technician across multiple U.S. auto service centers.

This role offers a 40-Hour Flat Rate Guarantee for the first 30 days and a 30-Hour flat-rate guarantee after the first 30 days to help you build your book. You will diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, engine performance, A/C, and other systems using the latest technology, with opportunities for ASE certification and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years automotive repair experience OR 3+ years military vehicle maintenance
• Valid driver’s license; flexible schedule including evenings/weekends/holidays
• Preferred ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes), state inspection license, or MAC certification

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C, and coolant systems
• Troubleshoot problems and use diagnostic tools with the latest technology
• Mentor teammates and continually learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves
• Maintain safety, service, and housekeeping standards while using protective equipment
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires/wheels and prolonged standing, bending, and squatting
