Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking an Automotive Technician in Pooler, GA, with a base of Fort Stewart for active duty support. Candidates will receive guaranteed earnings while building their book, including a 40-hour flat-rate guarantee for the first 30 days, with starting pay from $30+ per hour based on experience and certifications.
The role covers diagnosing and repairing automotive systems, mentoring teammates, and maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years automotive repair experience or 3 years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
- Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule (evenings/weekends/holidays).
- Preferred: ASE A4/A5 certifications, state inspection license, or MAC certification.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, A/C, and cooling systems.
- Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using current technology.
- Mentor teammates and continuously learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
