Job summary

Parsons Of Eagle River Inc is seeking an Automotive Service Technician of all experience levels to join Team Parsons. We offer hands-on training, continued education, and opportunities to grow within a family-owned dealership known for teamwork and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs across engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and AC. You will document work, communicate needs to advisors, and support a safe, productive shop environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driverers license is required.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Automotive experience or technical training is preferred but not required for every level.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills are needed.
• Willingness to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills are valued.
• Commitment to quality and customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Document completed work and recommended repairs.
• Communicate with Service Advisors when additional service is needed.
• Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
• Follow dealership procedures and safety standards.
• Stand behind the quality of your work and support fellow team members
