Job summary

Hayes Chrysler is seeking Automotive Technicians in Lawrenceville, GA, to perform maintenance and repairs to Mopar standards. You will diagnose engine, electrical, brake, and suspension systems and provide accurate labor estimates for customers.

Qualifications

• Perform maintenance and repairs according to dealership and Mopar standards.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning.
• Provide labor and time estimates for repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors/customers in clear terms.
• Stay up to date with new automotive technologies through formal training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs according to dealership and Mopar standards.
• Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
• Provide labor and time estimates for additional repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and required repairs to service advisors and customers in a clear, non-technical manner.
• Road-test vehicles as needed to ensure proper functionality.
• Supervise apprentice technicians and share knowledge with the team.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and efficient.
• Communicate with the parts department to ensure you have all materials needed for repairs.
