Job summary
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Florida is seeking an automotive technician to perform line service, brake repairs, alignments, tire installation and routine maintenance. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with competitive base pay and opportunities to learn and grow.
You’ll follow safety procedures, document work on repair orders, and provide excellent guest service while meeting repair times. ASE certification and a valid driver's license are preferred; 1 year of automotive
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
- Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- ASE Certification preferred
- Experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests
Responsibilities
- Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and problem-solving
- Brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, preventative maintenance, wheel alignments, and tire installation
- Provide excellent guest service and clear communication to guests about their vehicles
- Document all work performed on the repair order and follow safety procedures
- Mentor junior technicians and maintain teamwork to meet operating hours
