Job summary

Goodyear Lima, OH is seeking a Mid Level Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in a fast-paced service center. You will perform brakes, alignments, diagnostics and preventive maintenance while delivering outstanding guest service.

This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn and grow within a national tire and auto service leader. Your ongoing training, teamwork, and commitment to safety will help you advance toward senior technician and management roles as youGain

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: ASE Certification; experience diagnosing vehicles and performing road tests; electrical, AC and ignition work.

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics and problem solving.
• Execute brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes and tire installation as part of routine service.
• Provide excellent guest service with clear communication about vehicle status.
• Guide and mentor junior automotive technicians and document all work on the repair order.
• Report safety issues and uphold company policies on vehicle care and operation.
• Maintain teamwork to deliver timely, accurate guest care during all hours.
