Job summary

Enterprise Mobility/Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental seeks an Automotive Technician to perform car service, maintenance and repairs at our Service Center. The role requires reading manufacturer guidelines, use of diagnostic tools, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles.
• OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications required.
• Hire with manufacturer training with agreement of obtaining 4 ASE certifications within 60 Days of hire.
• Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus.
• Must have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
• A minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance as per manufacturers specifications.
• Complete warranty and recall repairs and required training.
• Perform ADA installs upon training completion.
• Light to medium duty mechanical work; no large transmission or engine repairs.
• Maintain vehicle repair history with Repair Orders and parts used.
• Provide safe and reliable vehicles after repairs and maintenance.
• Comply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
• Utilize manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
• May handle fleet processes, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
