Job summary

Modica Bros Tire Centers is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to perform tire installation, maintenance, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics, drivability, and routine maintenance across our Texas locations.

The role focuses on accurate inspections, safe test drives, and comprehensive vehicle care while contributing to a fast-paced, family-oriented shop environment. Applicants should have tools and a strong teamwork mindset to deliver dependable service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in automotive maintenance or repair.
• Must have own tools.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs to meet customer expectations.
• Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure safety and functionality.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, fluid flushes, belt/hos e replacements, battery testing and installations.
• Document findings after visual inspections and maintain shop equipment cleanliness and safety protocols.
• Support shop operations and team success with additional duties as needed.
