Job summary
Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Orlando is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You’ll learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance under seasoned technicians, handling inspections and customer explanations.
The role features a flat-rate pay structure with regional wage variation, and a compensation model that rewards efficiency. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid vacation, ASE certifications, 401(k) match, and daily pay options.
Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times.
- Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
- Reading, writing, and math skills.
Responsibilities
- Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
- Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
- Install batteries and check electrical systems.
- Perform tire maintenance.
- Install parts.
- Road test vehicles.
- Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment (fees paid by company).
