Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles. You will work with minimal supervision and may handle oil/fluids, tires, brakes, and suspension tasks, with opportunities to assist senior technicians as you grow.

This on-site role emphasizes vehicle reliability and safety to minimize downtime, ensuring customers can get back on the road confidently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Working knowledge of ASE certification areas including engine repair, drivetrain/axles, suspension/steering, brakes, electrical, HVAC, engine performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
• Conduct oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and warranty-related repairs as needed.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work to build skills.
• Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles are customer-ready.
