Avis Budget Group International in Albuquerque, NM is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) to perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across brands. You’ll work with minimal supervision and contribute to safe, reliable cars for customers.

You should have at least 2 years of auto repair experience or coursework with ASE certification, own a complete tool set, and be able to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Must own a complete set of tools for automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build your skills.
• Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to reduce downtime and ensure customer readiness.
