Job summary

Borst Automotive in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in line with MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards. The role requires maintaining ASE certifications and communicating findings to customers and service staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prefer a minimum of one unexpired ASE or equivalent experience or training.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicles according to certifications/experience level.
• Performs work as outlined on inspection/repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Explains diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and store staff.
• Recommends services to keep vehicles in running condition and documents recommendations.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to management.
• Maintains ASE certifications and renewals as needed.
