Job summary

Chevrolet of Canton is one of North Georgia’s busiest Chevy dealerships, serving Canton and the greater Atlanta area. We are expanding our main shop team and seeking a GM‑experienced Service Technician/Mechanic who can contribute immediately.

We offer competitive pay up to $40/hour based on experience, immediate openings, and walk‑in applicants are welcome. Our shop emphasizes growth, training, and a professional, well‑equipped environment.

Qualifications

• GM experience is required.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Pre-employment background checks including MVR and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunction and repair/maintain vehicles per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Inspect vehicles to identify additional safety or service work.
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes.
• Keep up to date with factory technical bulletins.
• Maintain a neat, clean shop area.
• Account for dealership-owned tools at all times.

Responsibilities - Service Tech/Mechanic:

• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
• Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Attend factory-sponsored training classes
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins
• Keep shop area neat and clean
• Be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times

Requirements - Service Tech/Mechanic:

• GM Experience is required!
• Good work ethic
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Pre-employment background checks are required, including MVR, and drug screening.
