Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Lakeland, Florida is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician. This full-time role includes responsibilities for diagnosing and repairing vehicles, maintaining a guest-focused approach, and collaborating with a team. Candidates should have 2+ years of automotive technician experience and a valid Driver License. Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Valid Driver License.
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Have and maintain an Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Secure guest approval for work as a result of the diagnosis.
• Complete thorough automotive vehicle inspections on every vehicle serviced.
• Test drive guest vehicles safely and manage inventory pick up using the shop truck.
• Collaborate with teammates and provide leadership.
