Job Title: Automotive Service Technicians
Job Overview
AAA Car Care is a network of automotive repair shops that serve both AAA members and non‑members. We are recruiting technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles into service bays and perform digital vehicle inspections.
- Perform general automotive maintenance and repairs such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake services.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper vehicle delivery to customers.
- Keep the shop clean and organized to maintain a positive customer experience.
- Learn from senior technicians and advance your career.
Technical Level Responsibilities
Technician C
- All General Services responsibilities.
- Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, basic repairs, and maintenance procedures.
Technician B
- All Technician C responsibilities.
- Mentor and train less experienced technicians.
- Perform advanced repair and maintenance services.
Technician A
- All Technician B responsibilities.
- Complete electrical repairs, diagnostic repairs, and drivability diagnostics.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay rates: General Service $15‑$17/hr; Technician C $17‑$25/hr; Technician B $40‑$70k+ with bonus; Technician A $65‑$110k+ with bonus.

Qualifications
All Service Technicians
- High School diploma, GED, or technical school certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
Preferred General Service Tech Qualifications
- G1 – Auto Maintenance & Light Repair preferred.
- State inspection certificate where applicable.
- AC 609 certification.
Technician C Requirements
- Minimum 6 months relevant experience or completion of a formal automotive training program.
Preferred C Tech Qualifications
- Ase certifications (A4 – Suspension & Steering, A5 – Brakes).
- AC 609 certification.
Technician B Requirements
- All C Tech requirements.
- 3 years or more experience at a dealership or automotive center.
Preferred B Tech Qualifications
- All C Tech preferred qualifications.
Technician A Requirements
- All B Tech requirements.
- 5 years or more experience at a dealership or automotive center.
Preferred A Tech Qualifications
- All B Tech preferred qualifications.
- ASE Certifications (A1–A8) with Master Technician designation or equivalent.
- ASE L1 – Advanced Engine Performance Specialist.
- AC 609 certification.
Work Environment
- Loud noises and odors may be present.
- Stand, walk, lift up to 80 lbs, and work in a hot environment.
- Own tools necessary for your skill level.
- Must work in a concrete facility for the entire shift.
