Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Automotive Technician in Tampa, FL to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles under guidance from experienced technicians. You will engage in routine inspections and customer interactions, contributing to high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a flat-rate pay model, base pay range around the region, and opportunities for ASE certifications with company support. Benefit packages start on day one for eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment (tests and fees covered).
