Job summary

Goodyear in Eatontown, NJ is hiring an Automotive Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair braking, suspension, engine, A/C, and cooling systems. Join a team that provides ongoing training, tuition assistance, and comprehensive benefits, plus a 40-hour base rate with a 40-hour guarantee and flat-rate earnings for the first 30 days.

Candidates should have 3 years repair experience or military vehicle maintenance, a valid driver's license, and ASE A4/A5 preferred; MAC or state inspection

Qualifications

• At least 3 years automotive repair experience or 3 years as a military vehicle maintenance specialist.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• ASE A4 (Steering & Suspension) and A5 (Brakes) certifications preferred; state inspection or MAC certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems.
• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills using the latest technology.
• Mentor teammates and continually learn new techniques as automotive technology evolves.
• Maintain high safety, service, and housekeeping standards; perform lifting tires/wheels and other manual tasks.
