Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Technician to gain hands-on experience in Goodyear Auto Service centers. You will diagnose technical issues, perform line maintenance, and deliver outstanding guest service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Starting pay ranges from 19.00 to 24.00 USD per hour, with benefits such as medical, 401(k), tuition assistance, and paid time off. Willingness to work retail hours including some holidays and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of automotive experience including brake repairs, fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and brake repairs
• Document all work performed on repair orders and communicate with guests
• Provide outstanding guest service and mentoring to junior technicians
• Follow safety policies and procedures and maintain proper vehicle care
