Tuffy Tire & Auto 10014 in Holland, MI is seeking passionate automotive technicians to join our locally owned shop and keep customers safe on the road. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and clearly explain repairs to clients while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying conditions.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance to clients.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.
• Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines and goals.
• Document all services performed and parts used in the repair process.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians as needed.
