Job summary

Subaru Pacific in Southern California is seeking an Express Service Technician to join our busy service department. We welcome candidates at all experience levels and provide paid training, competitive hourly rates, and a path to growth in automotive service.

You will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, document work, and collaborate with a skilled team to keep customers satisfied and vehicles safe on the road.

Qualifications

• Open to all experience levels; training provided.
• Basic Express/Lube knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Strong desire to grow and build a career as Automotive Technician.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Manufacturer certification is desired, and a degree or certificate from a trade school is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs as part of a busy service department.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical/electrical issues and perform repairs.
• Document all repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealership standards.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Execute maintenance and repairs efficiently following dealer/manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

The Express Service Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the overall success of our service department.

• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations and filter replacements.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
• Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.

Qualifications

• Open to all experience levels; automotive or retail service experience is a plus, but not required. Training provided for the right candidate.
• Preferred: Basic Express/Lube knowledge is helpful but not required.

Compensation:

• The estimated hourly rate range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00.
