Job summary

Midas is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicles. You will bring your own tools and work with a team in a full-service shop focused on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Emissions testing or ASE certifications are a plus, and you should have the ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or ASE certifications are a plus.
• Experience with diagnostic and repair work across a range of vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles across a wide range of makes and models.
• Utilize shop equipment safely to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Education

Automotive Technician Requirements

• Ability to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environment.
• Knowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnostics.
• Track record of high personal productivity.
• Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.

Automotive Technician Qualifications

• Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, Tire Changing Equipment, Tire Balancers, Wheel Alignment Equipment, etc.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Technical Degree or ASE certifications a definite plus.
• Valid Drivers License that meets insurance guidelines.
• Personally owned tools required to complete jobs independently.
