Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Independence, MO is seeking an Automotive Mechanic/Technician to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles while delivering excellent customer care. You will train and mentor team members, keep a safe, organized workspace, and stay updated on the latest automotive technologies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 6 months of automotive repair experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 6 months of automotive repair or mechanical experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• High energy, positive attitude, and strong customer focus
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair systems including brakes, hydraulics, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension, and alignment
• Perform routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire services, etc.)
• Explain repair needs and technical information to customers and teammates
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new vehicle technologies
• Support fellow technicians with complex repairs and troubleshooting
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Follow all company, safety, and environmental procedures
