Job summary

Community Car Care is seeking an Auto Technician to diagnose and repair automotive issues, perform maintenance like oil changes and tire rotations, and ensure quality vehicle repairs. The role requires hands-on experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and commitment to learning new automotive technologies.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, technical certification, and may hold ASE certification.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Trade school certification in Automotive Technology or equivalent work experience required.
ASE certification preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new automotive technologies.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair various automotive issues and systems, including engine and transmission repairs.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake repairs.
Use electronic diagnostic equipment to identify automotive problems.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Keep up-to-date with automotive technology advancements and changes.
